If I could give neg stars for Just Chillin' , I would. Assigned case via American Home Shield, to finally replace an attic unit with which I have had 4 service requests for leaking coolant. Finally, AHS has agreed to replace the coil/airhandler in the attic, but Just Chillin' left word on service invoice that I "needed an enlarged hole" for install of unit. No further info. After nearly 10 days of telephone calls, I could not get Just Chillin' to call me back with either details of the needed port size, or to answer some basic questions about installation options. Finally, an AHS mgr got Just Chillin' to pass, that I needed a 30'-30' hole to install 3.5 ton unit in the attic - way larger than std rafter spacing, & involves structural work in my attic. 3 other AC guys have said "unnecessary". Just Chillin' WON'T call me back to discuss. Now 2.5 weeks w/o AC, in 100 deg TX wx. Avoid these guys and AHS like the plague! Beyond that, Just Chillin' LIED re: comms w/ me & slandered me.

These guys also serviced my unit a few times last sunmer through American home shield. The last time they came I asked the older gentleman how much they would charge for a new central unit. He said about 2300.00 and that would include the airhandler, outside unit and even replacing the line with a larger one that would improve cooling. So, this winter I decided to go ahead and replace the unit. I called thy hem and the tech came out and gave an estimate of 4900.00. I'm not sure what happened to the 2300.00 estimate. And when asked for an itemized quote, they just took the outside unit and airhandler and divided it by 2 showing a equal price for each. What kind if itemization is that?? Well I found another company that installed a bigger system with double the warranty for 2800.00. Be sure to shop around before using these guys.

Heat pump went out, called because they are close to home. New Years eve, afternoon I might add. They came out, checked system, showed me what was wrong and listed available options. Not that I wanted to but we opted for a new system. Ours was 11 years old and the A coil had cracked. R22 is so expensive now. They put a new system in today, called, were on time, did a nice job, cleaned up everything and made sure everything was working before they left. I might add today was 13 degrees this morning, only 26 when they left. I will recommend them. Also they are providing a one year maint. contract with then new unit. Twice this year they will be out to check the units freon level and what ever else they do. I am not an AC guy. This is above the manufacture warranty of 10 years on the product. I really don't know why and in the same day they got the ratings below. ??

It is a real shame that YP doesn't give you a "zero" star option because this place deserves it. Used this service a while back but haven't posted anything until now after seeing that others had the same experience I did. Sadly, there is not enough time for me to go in to detail about all the things wrong with this place, but the other reviewers sum it up perfectly.



However, there is incompetence and then there is INCOMPETENCE. This place clearly falls into the latter category. If given the choice between having a house with zero AC in the Texas summer and letting these morons come into my house again (that is if they ever decided to actually show up), I'll gladly choose a 108 degree bedroom.



I understand that they are probably very busy in the summertime, but that is no excuse for the torment and prolonged neglect they showed somebody who had already paid them money.



To sum it all up, if I saw the owner or the "technician" on the side of the road in the desert, I wouldnt even take the time to pee on them to cool them off. They don't deserve it.

AVOID AT ALL COST. LIARS AND SELFISH MORONS. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE DISAPPOINTED. FREE IS TOO EXSPENSIVE TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM. ANYONE ELSE, I WOULD TAKE A RANDOMN CRAIGSLIST STRANGER THAN EVER LISTEN TO THIS COMPANY'S LIES AGAIN. Avoid like the Plague. Sad I had to give them one star to post this review.
