We took in a pas system weedeater and hedge trimmer where the shaft kept falling out. These guys took 7 weeks! To get my equipment back! Called 17times everything was suppose to be under warranty which they didn’t care for. They charged me for stuff that I didn’t want done I needed a carb replacement on a two month old model I’ve been putting the echo made gas for. And the shaft for hedge trimmer. They sharpened the blades and charged me 96$. They told me they had to wait on warranty to approve then I found out by another employee that hadn’t even called warranty place this was after four weeks of them having my equipment I only have two so my entire business was struggling while
This was in there. They finally said they got approved would have it fixed and out the next day. That they would call us they didn’t. Six more
Phone calls and three trips and they had the audacity to say the part never came in for them to fix it. Two more weeks and another pissed off visit finally got my equipment back. Just to get home and the stuff not work -_-

This place is nothing but a rip off. I took my two year old echo leaf blower to them because it was running a little rough. Leonards F&R was the closest authorized echo repair shop. They charged $32.50 to look at the blower. They called and said the carburetor's lower end was out. The repair would cost $123.00. A new blower (same kind/model) is only $165.00. I told them I would be by to pickup the blower. I went to the store and paid my $32.50. They brought out my blower and I noticed it had a bag of parts attached to it. I couldn't believe that they had not put it back together. When I asked about them putting it back together I was told they would have to charge me to put it back together. So I went from a rough running leaf blower to a blower with a bag of parts, minus the $32.50 I had to pay them, that is now just trash. Terrible experience that I will share with everyone I can. While I was waiting I priced alot of the items (mowers, weedeaters, etc that they sold at the store. There was nothing for sale there that could not be bought cheaper somewhere else. In some cases, much cheaper.Place is just a rip off. NEVER MORE.

Terrible service. Now that shane, their great parts guy is no longer their, I won't be going back. Everyone else there is clueless as well as rude. I took a commercial trimmer in, when I finally picked it up, it was in pieces and they said it wasn't worth fixing. They still charged me $40.00. The sad thing is I would have bought a new one from them, but i went elsewhere due to their attitude. I've been in the lawn business over 30 years and have bought most everything from them. My loyalty will be some where else now.

Need some help with your parts, Don't go here. They just don't care. Don't waste your time. Hard to believe they are still in business.

Yesterday, April the 13th 2011, I concluded a very gratifying experience with the employees at Leonard's. Admittedly, I was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the employees I dealt with. Initially, I walked into Leonard's with a problem I found to be both puzzling and frustrating for me. I'll cut to the chase; my problem was a lot more involved than anyone had anticipated. But the guys at Leonard's did their thing and my problem was completely resolved and I ended up a real happy camper! Thanks guys. My initials P.W.R. Fort Worth, TX

Horrible Service

They did an authorized repair for my Toro lawnmower that failed after 70 days. I asked them to repair it again since Toro will reimburse them in full for any authorized repairs that fail within one year. The owner (short, bald guy) said that they only cover repairs for 45 days and that Toro would not reimburse them. When I called Toro corporate, they said that it was indeed covered and to go to another authorized service center instead to get the work done since Leonard's would not do it. The owner was unhelpful and snotty about not wanting to help at all. I would NEVER go back there again.
