Overall we were very impressed with the process from the beginning to the end. The only complaint would be that they left too many nails when they were done.

My experience with Lon Smith started because of a tree falling on my roof. From the first meeting they had with my insurance inspector through the final checklist and billing, they've been great to work with. Very responsive and good a communicating about each step of the process. I would definitely use them again or recommend them to others.

I felt I could trust a company that has been in business many, many years. I was right! They did a great job on my roof and were great folks to work with. They truly exceeded my expectations.

Lon Smith Roofing did a good job on the install of my roof and stands behind their product. The inspecting and quote was easy along with the payment options in working with my insurance company. I did have a couple of issues on the day of install and due to communication. The first was the “inspector” that was supposed to be on site was almost never there. He showed up 3 times for a few minutes each time and was not reachable even though I left him messages on his cell phone. They did not have enough materials to finish the job in the same day and I couldn’t reach him to find out when the job would be finished. He was completely worthless. The second issue is that I was not able to communicate with the install crew because Lon Smith had nobody on the job site that could translate between English and Spanish. When I had questions they could not answer them due to communication. At the end of the day of install, the crew left and did not take their dump trailer with them leaving my drive way and garage access blocked. They could not tell me when the trailer was being picked up. I had to call the 24 hour support line and escalate to a manager in order to get the trailer removed from my property. The trailed was finally removed at almost midnight. They did finish the job the next day.

I TRUST these guys! They did a super job on my roof, gutters and exterior carpentry repairs. Will hire them again next time.

While the roofing portion of my insurance claim and experience with Lon Smith went rather smoothly, their ability to handle the window replacement portion of my claim was abysmal. Three confirmed appointments where the contractor no showed and one day where an unidentified contractor showed up, with no identification, couldn't connect himself to Lon Smith, etc. my window is still not fixed and has taken over three months to attempt to resolve. Ultimately we have ended our agreement with no remorse or reparations from Lon Smith and I now must go source another vendor to complete the repairs to my home. Lon Smith has done work for my family for over 30 years, but will no longer be servicing our needs due to the absolute lack of concern or respect during this unfortunate experience.

Lon Smith replaced my residential roof with hail damage. Workers completed the job in a timely manner and were courteous. All trash and leftover materials were picked up at end of job. Office staff, salesman and inspector were easy to work with and available for questions throughout the process. Lon Smith made it easy to work with the insurance process.

I used Lon Smith for my roof replacement. Everyone I worked with was courteous and respectful. They did a great job and a very thorough inspection after the job was complete. They were honest and fixed some of the things that weren’t completed correctly the first time.

Lon Smith Roofing did what they said they would do and my roof looks good. Quality was not 5 star only because I had to clean tar from old shingles off brick and some recently painted trim plus my satellite dish was ripped of the roof with a pitch fork instead of unscrewed the proper way. Other than this I believe the company to be honest which is why this is the 2nd time I have used them.
