Aside from the fact that I was moved into a dirty apartment that is falling apart, I actually liked living here at first. Since the owner decided to sell and the new owner took over, these apartments are going downhill fast. They apparently rent to anyone. What use to be a quiet community has turned into the loudest place that I have ever lived. People stomping up and down the stairs constantly while having very lould conversations in the breezeways, parking lot and common areas. Children running around screaming at the top of their lungs unattended. If they have a so-called parent with them, they either completely ignore their child's bad behavior or they are screaming at the top of their lungs as well. So much as my right to "quiet enjoyment" as it is non-existent here. I can not wait til my lease is up so I can move out of township aka oaks at hulen bend

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE! I cannot wait to get out of mine! First of all they lost our pet deposit and tried to tell us we had to pay it again, but I keep all of my records. Second the water gets shut off all the time without notice. My heat was broken several times during the winter and the maintenance man said he remembered it from the previous year and that they should replace it, but never did. My refrigerator went out and I called the "24 hour maintenance" they didn't come out until the next day all of my food had ruined and they didn't replace it until 3 days later. They decided to remodel the pool this year which is fine but they didn't start until May so we won't get to use our pool. The parking sucks! I tried to get a covered spot the women in the office said that there aren't any available but there are two right by my apartment where those women park their cars everyday. If you go to the office to talk to them about a problem while they are talking to future residents they rush you away. It is not a gated community I don't even think the front gate works. False advertisement! I strongly recommend you look somewhere else!

There is a rat problem in these apartments, and I was told nothing could be done about the rats coming in, I was told to buy rat traps and keep putting them down. If you have a 2 year old or infant you may not want to live here, rats have been known to nibble on infants.

The electricity is like a fixed rate $300-$400 a month in the summer even if you're gone on vacation for 2 weeks, cutting off all electricity or if you work all day for 10 hours and sleep most of the night, it will be the same price, and there is no grace period on your rent, it is due on the 1st no later.
