Mt. Vernon High School provides academic, athletic and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers classes in several subjects, including English, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. It also provides classes in art, language arts, music and technology education. The school provides several sport activities, including football, tennis, soccer, golf, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, golf, tennis, softball and cross country. It has several clubs and organizations, such as National Art Honor Society, intramurals, business professionals of America, French club, fellowship of Christian athletes, future farmers of America, community leaders of America, National Honor Society and Student Council. Mt. Vernon High School was founded in 1963 and is located in Fortville, Ind.
