The City of Fountain Fire Department covers more than 22 square miles of space and serves over 23,000 citizens. The department responds to fire alarms, medical emergencies, extrication, automobile accidents, hazardous material response, service calls and building inspections. It employs several full-time uniformed personnel, including firefighters and paramedics. The City of Fountain Fire Department offers advanced medical life support and 24-hour emergency response services. In addition, the department provides rescue training and public education programs on fire suppression and prevention. It conducts home fire safety and firewise property inspections. The City of Fountain Fire Department also offers technical rescue services. The department is located in Fountain, Colo.
