Provided by YPmobileThis review is for the location in Irvine. I would not bring my child here. I took my son here two days ago to get information and sign him up for swim lessons. I was told they needed to do an evaluation first so I got his swim trucks out of my car and she let my son join her class for his evaluation. After it was done she put something up to block off the kids and let them have freeplay. She then started what looked like to me a swim lesson with a baby and began conversating with the parents. All this while no longer paying attention to the four kids in the pool. One of the kids threw a ball to my son and he jumped off the contraption she had up to block them to catch the ball and began going under water and back up. He screamed for help and she did nothing. After all what could she do with a baby in her hands, babies are supposed to have private lessons. So i jumped in the pool, grabbed him and got him out. She was not paying attention at all to even realize that one of her students was beyond where he was supposed to be and failed to react when he was drowning. All she had to say after was "its good you called for help". "Your mom didnt plan on going swimming today" and "We have extra towels". He was terrified and keeps telling me he thought he was going to die. I dont know how to swim either so he didn't think anyone was going to help him.

Provided by YP.comAfter years of city swim lessons our son had still not passed the doggy paddling stage, so we enrolled him in Nova Swim in Fountain Valley. His progress was amazing and by the end of the summer he was in the deep in doing the backstroke.
The teachers were no nonsense and by the end of the half hour the kid was TIRED!
If you really want to see your kid learning to swim and not just splash go to this school.
