guy was a total rude jerk. im so glad he finally got shut down.

I came here few months ago to sell some gold. They pay pennies on the dollar. The service was so rude also. I went to HC stamp and he paid better so I took it. Stay Away!

I read those 2 reviews and can't believe what those girls wrote. They obviously didn't go to Fox Valley Jewelry and Pawn. I have been there many times. The gentleman who works there has been kind and courteous every single time. He takes the time necessary to go through all of my things and then gives me a great price right away. I never tell him I've gotten other estimates. He beats the price without my saying a word. Don't believe the people who have unrealistic expectations of value and who are the rude ones. This place is a class act. I recommend them to EVERYONE!

I brought in a lot of gold jewelry(some with diamonds) and silver coins that I had inherited. The guy was very cocky when he was talking to me and was just saying very bad stuff to make it seem it was worth nothing. He offered me a very low price. I left and went over to The Trading Post and they offered me more. DO NOT COME HERE. WASTE OF TIME

I honestly wish i could go negative on the stars. This guy was so rude to me. I came in to sell gold jewelry. He tried to give me a very low price. And then kept going up slowly. I tried to take my stuff and leave bc of how unhonest he was. He wouldnt let me. I had to argue with him to give me my stuff. I finally got it back and left. I went over to DOERNERS JEWELERS in algonquin. They are more professional and gave me a better price right away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO STAY AWAY.

If you don't mind being bent over and did from behind then go ahead. For a brand new item Ull be lucky to get 30% of what it's worth. The owner and his wife arnt there to help you out just to take advantage of u and take ur products that they'll turn around and sell it for 70% more but they'll give you diddly squat for it.

My wife and i went to FVP and they Paid us the best price for our gold jewelry. We shopped around and we ended up selling it to them. They were so nice and friendly. The store is also very nice inside with lots of cool stuff. We will be back again.
