1234 Garage Doors

I had the distinct displeasure of dealing with these inept crooks. Our garage door came off the tracks so I looked through the Internet trying to find someone to repair it. I found there page and there was a picture of our system so I called. A couple days later at 9 pm a guy shows up saying he is here to fix the door. He was in his personnel vehicle and had no tools. After I did most of the work and provided 95% of the tools he was finished the door but the opener still was throwing it off the track. He told me he had no idea how to fix these so I fixed it while he was still there. Now it is 11pm and he presents me with a bill for 1000.00 dollars. My 2 children were in the house so to avoid any problems I paid him with a check and said if I didn't hear from them in the morning I would put a stop payment on it. I did not hear from them and called but no one answered. A week later I get a call saying they will the me to court. We agree on 500.00 which I still thought was high but the door worked...until a couple days later.

A couple days later the same thing happened to the door. This time the owner showed up. He put the cable back on and said he couldn't fix the lift motor because they do not work on Comercial doors. I told him that I was now going to have to pay someone to do what I has paid him to do so I wanted my 500.00 refunded. He refused and scurried of into the night. I called a reputable garage door ompany located in my town and he took the lift motor and after a week and 550.00 it works as new.all of the parts replaced by the first idiot were wrong and the cables replaced were 3 feet shorter than they were supposed to be. After repeated attempt to get the company to return my calls I contacted an attorney. Unfortunately anything I can find appears to be under his girlfriends name. Police couldn't locate his actual address so I could bring him to small claims court. I feel bad for anyone who ever crosses paths with these idiot crooks. If I ever find out where he lives I will take him to court and try to have him arrested for fraud.
