Provided by YP.comI've had fondue MANY times in French restaurants as well as at home which I made from scratch. I love fondue so I was excited to try The Melting Pot. What a disappointment! I ordered the Swiss Cheese Fondue which was acceptable but nothing spectacular. The portion was extremely small and the bread was awful! Instead of fresh crusty French bread, I got chunks of hard, dense bread that was tasteless (and cold). I got a tiny (and I mean TINY) bowl containing 3 pieces of raw vegetable and a small bowl of Granny Smith apple chunks which were underripe. The spinach salad was OK but swimming in dressing. Overkill. I thought OK - the chocolate fondue HAS to be better than this. Wrong. It was watered down chocolate which barely stuck to my desserts. The cheesecake was cold as ice and hard as if just taken out of the freezer - just awful and I got three 1/2" cubes of brownie which also tasted hard and as if just taken out of the freezer. Absolutely deplorable. These people should be ashamed of serving such mediocre food at such overinflated prices. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place and go to a REAL restaurant where they serve the REAL DEAL. There is one in the South End, Boston (can't remember the name) that's very good. You'll pay about the same (maybe even less!) and get REAL fondue. I will never return to this place ever again.

Provided by YP.comUnique dining experience! My husband and I had so much fun at the Melting Pot. Cheese fondue was made for us table side and was delicious! Cooking our own meat in the wonderful hot broth was so much fun! Chocolate fondue is to die for!
