I have been coming here for several years and have always been very pleased with the quality of work and the reasonable pricing. I had an oil leak and, initially, this was diagnosed as a faulty oil pan. The estimated cost to replace would be $885, mostly labor. When I brought it in, they found that the pan was fine; the oil drain plug had come loose and just needed tightening. There was NO, I repeat, NO charge. They could have easily hit me for a couple hours of labor, but Joe and his crew were honest and did not try to take advantage like some other stations would and have.
Great work and integrity.

Great tone over the phone. Polite, professional, willing to help, down to earth.
I am very happy. It feels lime a community type of shop.
I love Chris, he is super sweet, John is the big Dog, but supper polite.
I will recommend anyone I know here.

Not sure how there were 2 poor reviews here, so thought I'd give something more recent. This place is awesome. Was referred to them by a family friend, and was very pleasantly surprised by a few things. First, they quickly will see you and your car, not making you wait days and days..... most times, they've been able to have me come in same day. Secondly, I didn't even ask for it, but they offered me a temporary car to use for the times I've had to leave my vehicle there for more than a few hours. No extra charge. What a surprise! Lastly, this is one of the only repair shops I've ever used that will suggest cheaper options if it makes sense. They always point out why a more expensive option may not be worth it, and how a cheaper option may be all I need. If you want an honest service center with affordable prices, quick service, and knowledgeable staff, Tostis is the place!

My 22 yr old daughter had her car towed to Tosti's after it would not start in a nearby parking lot. It was diagnosed as a starter problem. The shop quoted her a figure of 600 dollars to replace the starter. I went online and saw the average cost of a replacement (parts and labor) was less than half that. I called three repair sites in the area and was quoted figures between 275 and 300 dollars. When I spoke to Chris at the shop he said that it was a "difficult" car and that was why it cost 600 dollars. It seems clear to me that there is a problem when there is a 100% difference in estimates.
