Franklin Avenue Middle School, located in Franklin Lakes, N.J., is a public school that maintains various student clubs, such as animal, art, book, clay jewelry, cooking, dance, environmental, golf, international, photography, sewing, Spanish and math. In addition, the school has a jazz ensemble and yearbook and geography bee teams. Franklin Avenue Middle School provides academic services to more than 550 students in grades six through eight. It maintains a peer leadership corps that provides opportunities to students to develop leadership skills and become involved in activities to benefit the school and community. Franklin Avenue Middle School is a part of the Franklin Lakes School District, which operates four schools with an enrollment of nearly 1,500 students.
