I could not in all honesty suggest this community to anyone. The train is the worst. What they do not convey to you, is that it also carries freight, so this train starts at 5:30 am in the morning and it stops at 2:30 am. If you live here, you are basically right on the tracks, and at every intersection, the train has to blow the horn 4 times loudly, and ring the bell. There's a lot of intersections that you'll hear this train blowing through. If you can sleep through it, I guess it would be okay, but it's caused serious health issues for me as I can't even get sleep. Insulation is not good. I can hear the man's stereo downstairs, and I can hear his whole conversation on the phone...so I can only assume he can hear my conversations.



The hallways are extremely hot. I have spoken to others that are leaving here and they think the hot tub and the pool are causing the extreme heat to rise to all floors. In the summer, you are sweating. If you live on the 3rd floor...even if it's 60 outside with your windows open, your apartment will feel and it reads 80. The girl next store to me says her electric bill is high as well because she has to run the AC most months, so you need to factor that in too.



My apartment has all outdated appliances as others mentioned. The stove is scratched and dented, the fridge is dented, (I noted that in my walk through when I signed the lease so I wouldn't get blamed) and I wasn't sure why that was. Eve the metal door to the apt is dented. It's because the wall upon entering your door makes it quite hard to move much furniture around. I had to store my sofas because the movers couldn't get them around the wall. They were even astounded that a wall is literally a few feet away from a door. Poor construction/layout. And probably why my appliances were dented to begin with. I have had 3 males that I still get mail for...so I can only assume as I have been told by others that the turn around for people moving in and then out, is high here.



Dogs do their business on the ground outside the doors. The management says the owners need to clean it, and send memos out in regards to that, but they don't enforce it. You have to end up picking it up yourself if you don't want to step in it. And I have.



Cars speed around the building. You can bring it up to management all you want--they are aware, but nothing is done. I was told a memo would go out...it never did.



For the price, it's not worth it, and for me I got sicker literally living there, that doctors desired me out and breaking the lease.



Just be cautious when looking--and know you can get more peace etc for the same price in a better location.
