Our little Chihuahua, Chico, was hit by a car this afternoon. He somehow got out of our fenced in back yard when we let him out to use the bathroom. My daughter ran outside with a sheet and picked him up off the street and brought him inside. We placed him in a box wrapped in the sheet. He was breathing but he struggled for every breath. I petted him while my daughter was on the phone with vet offices in Middletown. We saw very little blood on him and no marks of having been hit. Finally after an hour of phone calls to vets that I feel are pathetic because they need that money right up front, my daughter got a hold of Krebs. I call this place the place with heart. They know how much our pets mean to us and they offered to help. My daughter and grandson took Chico right to them. They believe he may have some extent of brain damage as there is swelling in his head. They are keeping him over night and we won't know more until 8 am in the morning after the x-rays are done. God bless you Krebs.. I don't know what any of us pet owners who consider our pets family would do without you. I will highly recommend your services to everyone I know. Thank you so much for caring for our pets and doing everything you can do to keep them alive and well.

When my toy poodle, Cosmo was ill, I rushed him here. He had congestive heart failure. Dr. Krebs was so nice & kind. Our little dog was 18 yrs old. I didn't want him to suffer, Dr. Krebs & I tried everything. Meds for months, the prices for the meds was beyond cheap. They kept my baby boy confortable and painfree for 3 months before it got so bad for him that we didn't have any other options other than to put him to sleep. We scheduled it on a Sunday and I had plenty of time to buy a head stone,dig his grave, let him have steak and chicken for the days before and take lots of pictures of him before giving him back to god. On the Saturday before, God gave Cosmo one more really good day and I was thankful. Dr. Krebs was terriific and sympethetic, very kind to me before & after. They sent me a condolences card within a few days & every year I get a christmas card from them. They took care of him and it didn't take even an arm, let alone a leg. Go here.....
