The mission of Walther Engineering and Manufacturing Company is to design, test, manufacture and market wheel-end and brake products for the heavy duty truck and trailer market employing sound business planning and using advanced engineering and manufacturing techniques. The Walther’s have been involved in the manufacture of wheel end and brake equipment for the heavy truck and trailer industry for almost 100 years. When George Walther, Sr. cast the first steel wheels for trucks, steel was a dramatic improvement over the existing iron and wood wheels.



Over the years, he, his children, and their children have innovated wheel designs, brake drum designs, hub designs and have initiated hundreds of wheel-end related patents.
