We have used CJ Rose & Sons on several home improvement projects. They have put 2 additions on our home, replaced our roof after storm damage, and repaired our very old garage. Dan really listens to what your wants and needs are for any given project. He and his men show up on the day and time he promises and do great work. They are respectful and they clean up before they leave. Dan has always been willing to work with us within our budget and if he quotes a price, he sticks to that price for his work, no additional fees. We have referred many friends and family to this business and will continue to do so.

CJ Rose and Son is not a Rose you want to pick. After initially pleasant meetings to get our business, Dan Rose became rude, arrogant, money-hungry, and at times annoying and harassing. The only thing that kept this rose from being plucked off at the root was Scott. Scott did the work and it was excellent. The initial estimate was appropriate, but the price rose precipitously after some small additions to the project. We felt we were being gouged and requested an itemized bill for all the materials and labor. Mr. Rose then began leaving repeated messages on both our cell and home phones wanting money, but never gave us the itemization or explained the drastically increased cost. He called and left messages even after being told not to. Don't pick this Rose, you won't see the thorns until after they have already made you bleed.

Dan Rose, owner of C.J. Rose & Son, has done several projects for us over the past eight years. He has added a screened-in porch to the back of our house, gutted and remodeled the first-floor bath, replaced galvanized water pipes with copper pipes, and our biggest project, a second-floor addition. The second-floor addition required sub-contractors; the sub-contractors were professional as well. Needless to say we have returned to him several times and I am sure we will do so again in the the future. His quotes were reasonable and the workmanship was exceptional. We appreciated his dedication to making sure things were done in a timely manner.

We have not only hired C J Rose & Sons once, but twice! We have owned two houses in Elmwood Park and Dan has put additions on both of them. We were very pleased on both occasions. His quotes were by far the most reasonable, but more importantly the workmanship was high quality and on schedule. We would not hesitate to work with him again in the future. We have referred him to many friends who have also put on additions, they also have been happy with their reults.

I am a resident and a realtor here in Franklin Park for the past 23 years. Dan Rose put an addition on my home at 3520 Ruby Street in Franklin Park. He dormered out the back for a 3rd bedroom. I was very pleased with the workmanship and the promptness of completing the job. I do not hesitate to refer Dan with CJ Rose Construction to clients who opt to do an addition instead of selling. I personally know 2 other families that have had Dan do additions for them and they were pleased as well. His price was competitive and he was very dependable.

I used Dan a few years back for a basement remodel and bathroom install and could not be happier with the work. His crew was very professional and accommodating to any requests I made. I recently used him again for another remodeling project and he is the first person on my list for my next project. I never needed to worry about if or when his crew was going to be on-site as Dan made sure to always follow up with me on the dates and time to expect them.

Have used CJ Rose & Son remodeling work and subcontracting for several decades. Work agreed to is done in a timely manner and with no surprises.

I have used C.J.Rose & Son for all of my remodeling and new projects. The company built a 2 car garage for me that earned high marks from myself and nearby neighbors. I have had all of my bungalow's original windows replaced by C.J.Rose & Son, including a new bay window in the front. It transformed the feel and look of my home. Their work for me also includes a dormer, new roofs, new gutters, aluminum siding. This company always delivers on what was discussed and the owner, Dan, is frank on his appraisal of whether an idea is appropriate or not. He is very knowledgeable about permit needs and realistic with his time frames.I recommend C.J. Rose & Son to others who have remodeling, new construction needs. The company is prompt with its call backs and answering any questins that you have. The employees are polite and clean up after themselves which I find refreshing.
