Great service and good prices. The staff rally knows their their stuff and are always happy to answer questions. I've sold a few antique guns to them in the past and I got as good a deal as if at a gun show. There are a few other good stores but I think Franklin Gun Shop is the best I've been to.

Go here to hold different guns to see what you like. Then go elsewhere to purchase--you can save a considerable amount of money. Several of my friends do this. They have a decent supply of different guns, but pricing kills it. Trust me.

I have purchased multiple firearms through the Franklin Gun Shop. Rifles and handguns. And their customer service has always been top notch. The best I have found at any business, not even just firearm related. They have always done me solid. So when I went over this past weekend and purchased a new pistol, imagine my shock when there was a problem.

I purchased a Springfield XDs that is a smaller pistol meant for more of a concealed carry. And while I was purchasing it for that reason, I still needed the extended magazine because it just wasn't comfortable otherwise. The sales associate told me that the pistol itself came with two of the regular magazines but showed me the extended one they had for sale. I purchased both and went home. After getting home and looking through the paperwork, I discovered that an extended magazine should have come with my weapon rather than me having to purchase it separately. So I sent an email to the store expressing my dissatisfaction with the situation. This was after close of business on Saturday.

They are closed Sunday and Monday but first thing Tuesday morning before he even made it into the shop, I got an email from Mike apologizing for the screw up. He apologized numerous times and gave me a ton of options for how to resolve the mix-up. This allowed me to choose which was the best option for me and it was quickly handled. His email to me showed me an owner that cared about his customers and their happiness. The options let me know that he didn't just see this as a "whatever" thing and just give me the same old line of "come in and we'll fix it". I have been repeatedly shown that level of customer care from these guys in some way with every firearm I have purchased from there and that is why I will continue to buy all my firearms and accessories from there no matter how far out of my way I have to go to do it.

Way over priced. I wanted to get some ammo for a 1938 Mannlicher which is a 8 x 56R. It's a pretty uncommon round but I was in the area so I figured I'd give them a shot. The stuff goes for around $20.00 a box of 20 online add shipping and it's around $25.00. So the first guy I talked to had no idea hat was even a calibre. I then got another salesman who found one box for the low low price of $62.00. What a rip off. I didn't buy it and will never go back

Be VERY careful when dealing with this store. If possible I would check alternative area gun shops. The reasons besides over MSRP marked prices is the owner's unprofessionalism and anger if a valid questionable issue is politely brought up by the customer. Even if it is a longterm customer of many years and many top dollar purchases.

BE VERY AWARE and take someone with a strongly based knowledge of firearms if you are not experienced.

Terrible!

Had a awful experience. They are rude and not interested in helping customers. We were ready to purchase...but walked out after salespersons disinterest in us and rude behavior. Will never step foot in their store! Waste of a nice place for a good business!

Poor attitude

I called about them helping me get a gun.
They just needed to contact the company to get set up with them.
Said they did not want to bother with it.
I will remember that next time as well.
Will not shop there again.

Terrible service, and their prices are ridiculous. They are way over MSRP ! You would be a fool to buy anything here. this store is good for looking at you want, and then going elsewhere to buy. Trust me ANY gun store in Franklin / Nashville will cut you a better deal and save you HUNDREDS of dollars. The sales people here are so rude and ignorant about the merchandise in the shop, it blows my mind how they are able to stay in business. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. Plus that last review was was probably written by an employee, because anyone with a brain would know these guys are jagaloons.
