I see where the owner has been indicted for stealing and reselling saddles, and that is no surprise to me. About 4 years ago my high school age daughter's boyfriend bought a $75 gift certificate from this shop for her, but she decided to sell her horse and no longer needed the gift certificate. She went in to the shop to see if she could get his money back and they told her to send it to the main shop in Germantown TN with an explanation, and they would send a check to her. She even talked with them once in Germantown after they received the gift certificate and was told they would be sending her a check in the amount of the gift certificate. After a couple months and no check, I called and talked with one of Judy's assistants and after being on hold for several minutes was told they knew nothing about any gift certificate or promised check to my daughter. It was only $75, felt like there was nothing I could do so let it drop, telling my daughter there were people like this in this world and eventually this kind of behavior would catch up with them. Looks to me like Judy graduated from stealing $75 from high school girls to high dollar saddles at trade shows.
