Love this place, am very picky on where I take my dog to get her hair cut, other places have done such a bad job, this has been the only place that I was able to cut her hair the way I like it, so I'll be going there from now on

Considering the negative review below (granted, it is 4 years old), I have no recollection of anyone making any claims that their dog couldn't swallow, needed to go to a vet, etc. I don't recall anything of the sort being brought to my attention, which is a shame because we cover vet bills if something happened on our watch. In regards to the puppy's coat condition, there is a very good chance that the dog was brought to us in very poor condition/matted and seeing that we groom many dogs of this type, an explanation of how it got that way was probably offered.



We take reviews seriously, but when they show up online and are never brought to our attention in person, it's very hard to rectify a situation.

Husband is compassionate, His wife is extremely critical and judgemental, First visit with our 4.5 pound puppy, she criticized us continually as we tried to tell her about our puppy, crticized our vet, even told us we got the crappy coat on our Morkie, nothing positivre to say, made a huge mistake taking our puppy to be groomed here, in the car she was having trouble swallowing even water, we could hear her swallowing so hard and loud, had to take her to the vet, who confirmed her throat is injured, i wouldn't recommend anyone take there dog here, no compassion at all for little dogs, i don't know who wrote about how great this place is, what a joke.

I've taken my dog to a few different grooming places when she was a puppy but now that she is older and I have more experience as a dog owner, I've learned that it doesn't get any better than A Green Dog. Not only are the owners knowledgable and fun to talk to, they do a fantastic job on my dog Lizzie. Lizzie is a Bischon/Shih Tzu mix that has a really unruly undercoat and they do a great job with her. There is nothing better than picking up my happy, clean dog that smells so good and looks so cute with her fresh hair cut and new bandana. I would recommend A Green Dog to anyone that needs a groomer.

Tammy and Dave groomed my persian that was one big hairball. I have to thank them and rate them as outstanding for the way they took care of my Harvey..

They are people with a golden heart because they really helped me out at a time when I really needed it, and my Harvey is happy as ever!!!

Last week my husband noticed the pet spa on his way home from my son's house. He stopped in and talked to the owners and was impressed. My husband took my 2 golden retreivers in this morning to be groomed. Our previous groomer had retired and so we were trying to keep up the grooming ourselves which did not work out so well. They were pretty scruffy and a bit smelly when we took them in. I didn't know how they would react with going to a new place because they are at home together a lot and can get kind of crazy when we take them out or separate them. They did a wonderful job grooming them. The dogs have never looked or smelled so good and they came home with the cutest pink bandanas. I would highly recommend this business and will be telling others about it. We are officially retiring from the groom your own dog business and will be bringing them back on a regular basis.
