Franklinton Elementary School provides several learning opportunities and student development programs for students in grades three through five. It serves more than 400 students with educational materials, technology and skills development classes. Its core curriculum includes the accelerated reading program, vocabulary, spelling, mathematics, social studies, science, technology and computer application. In addition, it offers physical education, health and nutrition classes and special education. Franklinton Elementary School organizes picture day, science fair, Washington Parish Fair and educational convention seminars. Its clubs and organizations provide students with opportunities for social interactions, leadership experiences and community services. The school is located in Franklinton, La., and has been approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
