What are they teaching your children?

I may be new to the North Carolina area, but when it comes to education, what are we teaching the kids?

The first week was dis-orginised, and very unprofessional.

Now here we are, and its almost the end of the school year, and Its exactly the same. This isnt just a ticked parent, Its the whole system, from superintendent, all the way down to the bus driver.

The superintendent is never in, and the bus driver is always late! At the beginning of the year, I had to get my boys up with me at 5:30 to catch the bus at 6, well come to find out the driver gets there around 6:30, 7:30, so I send them out at 7:00 and they get some rest not much, but around an hour or so. Now mind you It does get cold, and my monsters are freezing their little butts off, now they come around 7:30 8:00, sometimes 8:30 in the morning, now last time I checked, school starts at 7:45.

That means that my boys are late everyday? Thats not the kicker, office opens around 7:30-9:00 in the morning depending on who ever is feeling froggy on that particular day I guess. Superintendent, and his secretary are never in and when I say never, I mean Ive never seen, or spoke to them. the one and only person you can count on in this school is the principal (linda) given this is only one person. So, what the heck are they teaching our kids?

Is it okay to show up late everyday, or at all? Is it okay to do things half way? Is it okay to just wing it when it comes to our childrens education?
