I would not recommend. Nothing but problems. I bottomed out my car after the work was done. He claimed it was the curb. I claimed it was the concrete. He saw and heard me bottom out. He then sent a picture and told the DATCP that I was complaining about bottoming out my car on the driveway near the garage. Not true.
On a rainy day, I slipped and fell on the driveway. Scott's response was to be careful and if I contact him again, he will see me in court. I had contractors come and tell me that he did not hard brush the concrete and that I would have to replace the whole driveway and sidewalk. the brush he used was more for patios than driveways. They told me that it would get worse as time goes by. My neighbor who used to work in the concrete business also told me that he did not hard brush the concrete. One contractor came when it was raining and showed me a few spots where my foot had traction and spots were my foot would slide. Scott claims that they are just saying that because they want my business. In the contract, it says anti-slip broom. The contract also says gravel. He put in recycled asphalt instead of gravel.
Now I have cracks up and down my concrete and sidewalk. I asked him to meet with me. He ranted and told me that he does not want to work with me because all I do is complain. He told me that concrete cracks. He then told me he was on vacation and hung up on me. This is the second time he hung up on me.
The first time he hung up on me, I wanted to know what he was going to do about my car bottoming out. He starts talking about the 4 inches he took off from the driveway. I tried to get him back on track. He told me that I am not listening to him and he hung up on me.
He likes to play the victim and then tries to bully you. He has a bad temper when you try to ask him things. Now I have a driveway and sidewalk that needs to be replaced. I will also probably have to hire a civil engineer to make sure the pitch, foundation is right. I offered to pay for the engineer. I asked Scott if the foundation was wrong, if he would come back and fix it. No response.
