My experiences with Wendy, Amy, and Ashley at Ava Laurenne Bridal have been AMAZING!! If I could give them 10 stars I would!



My MOH and I scheduled 4 appointments for 1 Saturday, with Ava Laurenne as a special treat. At the other 3 appointments, we were met by a variety of attitudes and skill levels. I left each one of them more deflated than the prior one. I had tried on over 35 gowns with every successive one being more horrible than the last.



When my MOH and I arrived at Ava Laurenne a little early, we were greeted with a wonderfully warm welcome and delicious glass of lemonade, which was what I had selected when I made the appointment with Wendy a few days earlier. We loved that there was a space for us to just take a moment to ourselves and make the transition into the wonderful showroom / former theater space and just not think about the horrible experiences earlier in the day. We drank our lemonade, perused a few magazines, and chatted with Ashley and Amy.



Wendy and I had chatted about my budget, some special dress ideas, and body type considerations when I made the appointment so that she had a better sense of what styles might work. With the scattered ideas about styles and my body type considerations, she greeted me with about 10 different dresses as she skillfully descended down the spiral staircase in heels! My fairy godmother had arrived!!



Wendy made both my MOH and I feel comfortable AND HOPEFUL in no time at all. As she helped me in to the first dress, I realized just how genuinely special she is. She treated me, a complete stranger deflated and self-conscious, like her long-time best friend. We were so excited as we left the changing room to help me step up on the carpeted platform, which was complemented by an enormously tall and wonderfully gold-gilded mirror.



So we decided the first one was lovely, but we thought maybe a little more rouching here and a little less fuss there would work better. On to dress #2! Also fantastic! So we ramped it up and Wendy said - OOOOH! THIS ONE!!! - Dress #3. Better than the last two and it felt right. THE THIRD DRESS. I realized I should have just started my gown search at Ava Laurenne; it would have ended there after 20 minutes and 3 gowns.



I LOVE my dress, and the very few people I have shown photos to have simply lifted their hands to cover their jaw-dropping gasp and said "Oh my god - STUNNING!" and then their eyes well up imagining the day. My dress is a sample - bought right off the rack, complete with the sample sale discount, and Ashely's special touch to spotlessly remove the tiniest of stains left by the other ladies who had tried it on previously - for $1,000, which is the national average wedding dress price.



No other woman has made me feel so pretty, let alone a whole team of ladies letting me know I AM gorgeous! I didn't feel like I was trying on some mass-produced dress that just happened to be in my size. I felt like EVERY dress was already MY dress. The question simply was which one I'd wear on my wedding day. Wendy, Amy, Ashley, and my MOH greeted me with gasps and awwws that I will never forget, and I can't ever thank them enough for.



I am really looking forward to any and every opportunity to work with Wendy and her seamstresses to make the alterations. I KNOW my dress will be even more perfect because the Ava Laurenne Bride team genuinely care, respect, listen, and love helping brides realize their wedding day visions. I am 100% confident in myself and the team.

What a fantastic experience today at Ava Laurenne Bride! While I am usually working as a member of the Ava Laurenne Team, today I had the thrilling opportunity to be on the side of the customer as I helped my future sister-in-law pick-out the gown of her dreams! It was so wonderful to see her light-up as she tried on dress after dress, but even more special was the moment she realized she had found "her dress!" Wendy was, as always, fantastic at making the bride feel confident and beautiful in everything she tried-on, but far greater than that was the relationship that was immediately formed between Wendy and this bride. How special it was to see Bethany, her mom, my mom, and Wendy cry with joy when she said "This is my dress!" I have always believed that there is something very special about Ava Laurenne, but having the opportunity to observe from a different vantage point today has made me even more aware of just how wonderful our shoppe is. Ava Laurenne strives to celebrate love in every way and to make the dress-buying experience one of the greatest and most memorable aspects of planning a wedding. I am so thankful for our shoppe and for the opportunity to celebrate love with the brides that come through our door, but I am especially thankful that Bethany became an Ava Laurenne Bride today!
