Harrison Road Elementary School, located in Fredericksburg, Va., and founded in 2001, is affiliated to the Spotsylvania County Public Schools. The school offers various academic, cocurricular and enrichment programs to more than 700 students in grades prekindergarten through five. It serves a variety of food items for breakfast and lunch from its cafeteria. Harrison Road Elementary School enrolls students from all ethnic, social and economic groups. The school has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development and enhancing communication between home and school. It also offers a variety of programs, including accelerated reader, star, attendance, scouting, taekwondo, super star of the week, Student Government Association and reflections program.
