For years I boarded my dogs at kennels when I went out of town, but never again. There is a wonderful pet sitting service called Peace of Mind Pet Sitting that convinced me that in-home pet sitting is much better for my pets and more convenient for me! My dogs got 3 walks a day which they don’t even get when I am home so they were spoiled rotten. Normally after they get home from the kennel, they are high strung and often have diarrhea. When I got home after a week long trip the dogs were relaxed and happy to see me as if I had just returned from a day of work. While I was away I called the pet sitter twice and was always given lots of details about them that let me know she was very attentive to their needs and personalities. The other convenient part is I did not have to worry about the kennel pick-up and drop-off times which made it much easier on my travel schedule. Would highly recommend this service as it can’t be beat for “peace of mind”, pricing, and convenience!
