My wife was a patient there until their complete non-responsiveness and total ineptness of this office has led us to another Pulmonologist in Richmond. They do not answer a phone and if you leave a message there is no response. My wife had to go there to sign a release so her records could be sent to her new doctor. The new doctor has now requested 4 times to have the records sent......nothing. After multiple calls and finally selecting the option of making an appointment and new patient someone answered. I was told there were no request and my wife would have to come in to sign a release so they could send the records......I told them she did and they said "well we don't have one on file". Their auto call for patient appointments is broke too. My wife cancelled her appointment over two weeks ago and she keeps getting calls to confirm or cancel her appointment. We just got another one a few minutes ago, approximately 1900, after, while I had them on the phone today, I had confirmed her appointments were cancelled. If doctors or any business for that matter wants to be successful they need to realize how important customer service is and hire a competent staff capable of providing just that. Doctors especially need to know that their staff is who the patient has to deal with for the greatest amount of time and an inadequate or uncaring staff is not a good representation of them.
