Although I think that the doctors are wonderful the staff in charge of appointments are another story. They completely lack compassion. I admitedly have had to cancel more appointments in the last few months then I would have liked to. Having said that, I had explained the situation that I was in more than once to the staff. First my mother was incredibly ill for months in the hospital and then passed away. Her sister immediately started falling and having all kinds of physical problems because she has no children I take care of her. She's been in and out of the hospital for months because she keeps falling and has lost vision in one eye. I had to cancel an appointment shortly before I was supposed to be there because the neighbor called telling me they thought she fell again and she was trying to hide it. Of course my aunt falling takes priority over my appointment. The situation has become so bad that I've had her put her home up for sale because she can no longer live alone. Having said that, if they had treated me with kindness and consideration this wouldn't be a problem however, I got yelled at and questioned like a child when I called back to make an appointment. I was told I'd have to be on the waiting list. Unbelievable how cold they were to me during the worst time of my life.
