With all the recent hype over this place since it has opened, we thought we'd give it a try. At first we were going to Taste of India but decided to come here. The food was average. Not as good as Taste of India or other Bay Area Indian restaurants. I had a paneer burji wrap that wasn't even edible because they stuffed it so much, everything kept falling out. The bhel puri didn't have much flavor because the spice took over. It was more spicy than flavorful. Bhel puri we've had at other places has more ingredients but this one didn't have much. The pani puri was nice. It came with the pani & spiced potatoes, channa, onions & one more type of channa. The paronte were okay. Pretty dry because no ghee or butter was put on. The raita tasted a little old. The mango lassi was great! They seem to have too many waiters than needed. A lot of them were just walking around aimlessly. We never had just one server. We had a different person come to us every time, so that was 4 servers. Maybe I'll give this place another try, but for now, I'm sticking to Taste of India. Oh, and we were also given the wrong check.
