Disappointed-First off, they forgot about our scheduled appointment after some of us had traveled an hour to have dresses fitted for a bridal party. The shop was closed when we arrived. They have caused the bride nothing but stress and got numerous details wrong. They also refused to steam our dress with out an added charge. Steaming a dress should come as a courtesy after spending thousands of dollars in their store. The communication between all the women that worked there was horrible...there was too many "hands in the pot". I would not recommend them to anyone. I know other brides who have went here and have had nothing but issues and added on stress as well.

I have been in 3 other wedding...

I have been in 3 other weddings and I have never had such bad customer service. The ladies at Miller Bridal and sewing center are very helpful when they are selling something to you, but if there are any problems on their side of things, all I got were excuses rather than an apology. Turns out another bridesmaid and myself order the same size dress, although based on her measurements she needed a W in the same size. When I went to try the dress on after they called to say it was in there were a few alterations that needed to be done. The sales lady (who i now know is the manager of the shop) was very attentive. I told her that I definitely wanted my straps made permanet, they were just snaps. I also wanted it taken in at the top because there was so much side cleavage. Also the zipper didn't lay flat, at which point she told me the dress would need to be taken out on the chiffon layer for it to lay flat. She quoted me $50, which at the time seemed reasonable. After not hearing back from them for three weeks I called to check on the progress, at which point they informed me that they hadnt even started any alterations. The wedding was in 12 days. I asked that they be done in three days so that I could come pick it up. I got a call two days later. Went with another bridesmaid to pick up. Got the dress on, the straps were not made permanet, the zipper still did not lay flat, and the top wasn't even taken in enough. At this point the sales lady helping us let me know that they switched my dress with the other bridesmaid but "its a good thing, because you would have never fit into that dress, we had to let this dress out so much!" Can you believe that?!?! The sales lady who told us this began to pin us up for more alterations. We asked that they call us as soon as they were done because the wedding is now only 9 days away. The following week we got a call saying they were ready. Once again I drove 45 minutes to the shop to pick it up. Got there, got the dress on and the alterations were complete, other than the chiffon layer in the front is now clearly ripped and the zipper that was shortened to make it lay flat is not seemed into the dress correctly. The sales lady once again says oh no problem if you could leave it and come back we will have that done in 20 or so minutes. We choose to wait in the shop since we had just drove 45 minutes. When she came back out, the dress was in the plastic bag and ready to go. I very politely and kindly explained that I was an honest person and would pay for honest work, but felt as though they had made a mistake by switching our dresses and now I am paying for alterations that may have not needed to be done in the first place. The sales lady (manager) said once again "its a good thing you did get this one, you would have never fit into the other dress." Which I calmly replyed "so what your telling me is that you originaly measured me incorrectly when we came in to order the dress, and so therefore ordered the wrong dress to begin with?" her response "well maybe you have gained some weight since we took your measurements." I was in SHOCK?!?! really this is how they want to do business. They give me the wrong dress to begin with and then insult me by saying that I must have gained weight. At this point I was so angry that I just paid the lady and walked out. I will never go back there and would never reccomend them to anyone. In fact I will gladly share my personal experience with anyone who is even contemplating using them for any services. They are very helpful when it comes to selling you something, but when it comes to customer service and owning up to their mistakes it is lacking.

I will never recommend Miller ...

I will never recommend Miller Bridal to anyone however I will tell everyone about the shotty alteration work they did on a $210 dollar dress and quoted $50 for alterations and then charged $80 they switched two of the bridesmaids dresses and altered them for the wrong people then told one of them that her dress would have never fit her she must have gained weight! are you kidding me!!! after spending $290 dollars on a dress and alterations when she put the dress on 20 min before my wedding, the zipper wasn't even sewn into the dress!!!!! I am going there to get some money back for my friend and I guarantee that if they don't give her some if not all of her money back I will be contacting the better business bureau from their lobby... I have the number ready and on hand! I am only rating them One star because it wont let me post this without rating them. They don't deserve the one that I'm giving them.
