They had the car for three weeks, before telling us that they could not do the work. The car was returned to us dirty (inside of car and outside were dirty, dusty and smelled, there were rings on the roof from where a drink cup had been placed) and damaged (door panel damage). They did not feel it was their liability. When we took the car to another repair shop to fix the original issue, they told us it would take $1000.00 just to fix the damage Nielsen did to the vehicle before they could even begin to evaluate the actual problem. Don't do business with this place!

SUMMARY: There is absolutely no pride in the work and they will do a terrible job for you. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!I was recently rear-ended in Omaha. I work in Fremont and some of my colleagues recommended Nielsen's to repair the damage. I got a quote from them, the other guy's insurance approved it and I brought my car in. They completed the work during the day while I was at work.When I picked up my car, though, the bumper seemed like it was darker than the rest of the car. Thinking it was all in my head, I ignored it, got my keys and left. The next day at work, a coworker asked me what I thought of the result. He told me that he could see from a long distance that the bumper was much darker than the body. Several others confimed my initial suspicions.I called Nielsen and they said to just bring it in. They apparently had just typed in my car's VIN and assumed the paint color was right. They had not blended or used a tool to actually measure my car's color. Worse yet, they let an obviously poor job our the door without stopping to correct the issue!I brought my car back in and they were unable to complete the work in one day so they gave me a courtesy car for the night (old, worn out Ford Taurus- terrible). The next day I picked up my car during lunch and the office staff were rude, as though I had done something wrong. Worse yet, there was plastic baked onto my front bumper (the one they handn't worked on)!I went back in and told them. First, they argued that they hadn't done anything with that bumper, then got their mechanic to look. He agreed there was an issue and tried buffing it out. I eventually got sick of it and just left- my front bumper is still covered in the remnants of their protective plastic.DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!

I had a couple of door dings on my 2008 Caliber. Gene Steffy recommended the establishment to me. I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't know anything about them, but since the dealership (which is awesome too) recommended them, I'd give them a chance. It looked like brand new when I got it back.Unfortunately, somebody decided they needed to open their door into the Caliber again - same side. I got a quote, made the apptmnt - took the car in. Once the technicians started on the car, they realized it just needed buffed out. HONESTY still lives. I cannot say enough great things about the office staff or the technicians. Your organization rocks!!!
