Richard Binau was born and raised in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. In 1975 he graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Business Finance. It was at this time he was hired by the Huntington National Bank of Woodville, Ohio, where he worked for 10 years securing the rank of Assistant Vice President. In 1986 he left that position to pursue a career in the insurance industry. He opened a Property & Casualty Agency in Fremont, Ohio, and he became a Series 7 Securities licensed Investment Advisor with New England Life and New England Securities.
