Operational since 1972, American English Institute (AEI) has been offering English learning programs for international students. Located in Fresno, Calif., the institute is a part of the California State University. It offers courses for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), as well as conducts the fall, spring and summer sessions. The institute's programs include low intermediate to advanced-level orientation programs and computer-assisted language learning. It also arranges various social/cultural activities and trips to places, such as San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Monterey.
