Ordered a swim spa in October of 2020. We were told that they could not order until January of 2021, and that was not an issue. They required a 50% deposit at the time of the order. We were informed at the end of April 2021 that the spa was no longer available. With further conversation we discovered that they knew there was an issue as early as late January and they apparently concealed that issue (undoubtedly to save the sale/deposit) despite two conversations with them since January. By the time we were informed that the spa was not available, we had designed and poured a large stamped concrete patio with electrical and drains stubbed out to the requirements of that spa. Stub outs are all particular to each spa manufacturer and model. Now we not only need to find a different spa but likely pay to move the stub outs and repair the patio. Stay as far away from this business as possible, they are deceitful in their business practices.

We purchased a floor model "bullfrog" spa....about 16 months ago.....we were very pleased with our sales experience, delivery & set up and have been enjoying use & ease of maintenance ever sense.....thank you Tom and everyone @ Backyard Spa & Leisure

I have never experienced a business so set on not wanting business. We went there to buy a free standing gas fireplace to replace our wood burning one. Talked to Mike and the owner, Tom. Decided on what we wanted. Getting ready to set up the details but we needed a few question answered to make sure we could do things the right way. First we called and left a left a message for one of them to call back, didn't get a call back until I called again, talked to Ruth, owner, who was upset because I was irritated for not getting a call back, this time we got called back. Made the arrangement to go talk with them. When we get there, still trying to get answers but instead we get berated by Ruth, who could not answer the question she was asked and instead gave an incorrect answer to something totally off from what we asked. When it was pointed out that she was wrong we were told they didn't want to do business because we were too difficult. Thanks for not doing business with us.
