The Baloian Family has been in the produce business since 1923 when Charles Baloian began Charles Baloian Company, a full-service produce company and the precursor to Balioan Packing. In 1945, his two sons joined as partners in the company. In 1965, they formed Pam Pak Distributors to package and market fresh vegetables from a large contingency of local growers who supplied CBC. In 1968, Pam Pak Distributors began its own farming operations in order to increase the volume of sales for the company. In September 1985, Edward and Timothy Baloian organized the packing company in an effort to continue the operations of Pam Pak Distribution. Baloian Packing is in Fresno, Calif.
