I bought a bike about a year ago. I was just looking and needed help getting sized for a mountain bike. I was honest and telling the owner that I was not planning to purchase a bike at all, but just needed information. He let me try several bikes in the parking lot, explained what a good set up would be like and how it should feel. In the end I really like two bikes, he made an offer that I just couldn't refuse. You get free tune ups, but I wrench on my own, so no biggy there. Overall my experience was very pleasant and transaction was perfect.
