Provided by YPmobileOn July 4 we bought $7,200 (sofa and 2 recliners ) worth of furniture. It was a custom order. Waited 10 weeks for our purchase to arrive. They only delivered the recliners. The guy said we were suppose to pick up the sofa in San Jose warehouse ourselves. We live in Hanford, CA, 3 hours away. Called store in Fresno and had to schedule another delivery. It arrived the following Saturday. They set it up and the end recliners on the sofa were inoperative. I had to troubleshoot the problem for them. The power adapters were bad. They had no replacements. Had to schedule a maintenance appointment to fix brand new sofa !!! Apparently this franchise has no concept of quality assurance or customer service. We have utilized Lazy Boy for years and were always satisfied. Not anymore, at least with this store in Fresno.

Provided by YP.comI bought a lazyboy massage recliner there... the chair padding went flat right away so that it was painful to even sit in it. They sent someone out who added more padding to it... again it lasted about 2 weeks and again was unfit to sit in much less get a massage. The repair guy came out a 2nd time... and it was terrible once again. Lazyboy and they let me trade in the chair fo for a more expensive chair (I paid the difference in cost). It did the same exact thing.... we ended just throwing the chair out. it was useless and so is LAZYBOY! I would never by another thing from them.... I later heard from another friend that they had a similar experience with their couch and sofa they bought. DO NOT buy from Lazyboy the materials they use are NOT holding up.

Provided by YP.comWe are having the WORST experience ever with the LaZBoy store at/near Riverpark in Fresno. We purchased a pricey Love Seat. After only 2 weeks of use, it was obvious the padding in the Love Seat was defective causing indentations where legs (and head) go, which, additionally, is causing the fabric pattern to distort. They were notified immediately of the problem (end of JANUARY 2014). It is now APRIL and problem is not resolved. We've called numerous times and they don't return calls. I found out recently that 2 people I know are having similar problems with this store. Their product is sub-standard and their SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. It is crazy that a customer will pay a lot of money for furniture, and when it arrives defective, they won't allow a return. Isn't their a lemon law with furniture? If not, there should be! We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Their response to every phone call we've made is "you can not return a custom order". THINK TWICE BEFORE SHOPPING IN THIS STORE!

I have filed a complaint with the BBB you can check it out under complaint #89046949. Short of it… Purchased a sofa that came defective. It had a chemical odor and was giving me headaches. After many many phone calls to both local store and customer service dept. Finally 2 weeks later, got them to remove the item from my home. At that point LAZBOY didn't think it was necessary to communicate with me. I made many inquiring calls but they didn't return my calls. I finally caught someone on a call and was only reminded that the item was a special order and non-refundable (not a word about how I was doing, since their product was making me ill) and they would have to evaluate and someone would call me back the same day with more info. Guess what, NO CALL. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and got most of cost credited back, but I made the initial deposit by check and LAZBOY has refused to refund me for a defective stinky couch that I no longer have in my possession. My next step will be to contact LAZBOY Corporate office since I tried contacting the Franchise owner, his name is Troy, but TROY DOESN'T TALK TO CUSTOMERS. I can see where the problem lies…
