Norman Liddell Elementary School serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade six. It is named after Norman Liddell, who is a long time resident of Fresno, Calif. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, reading, language arts, social studies, science and physical education. Norman Liddell Elementary School offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including art and essay contests, choir, science fairs, safety patrols, spelling bee competitions and drama. The school provides opportunities for students to participate in chess, music and leadership clubs. In addition, it provides several athletic activities, including volleyball, football, wrestling, basketball, track and field, baseball and softball. Norman Liddell Elementary School is a part of the Central Unified School District and is located in Fresno.
