When I first heard about Linker Financial Group my mom had been living in Arizona and wasn't doing well. She needed to leave Arizona and come live near us at a nursing home. During this time my grandma passed away and my mom inherited some money. This was a huge concern to me because I didn't want my mom to lose what little money she had. This all happended in a 3 week period and I panicked. When I met with Linker everyone was kind and explained the options to protect her funds and get assistance in paying the nursing home bills. I was so relieved to find a company that could help during such a hectic time. Since they have gotten Medi-Cal in place they have continued to help with all of my questions and anything that has come up. Because of the assistance I received I was able to focus on my mom and not worry about getting Medi-Cal. I thank the Lord that I was referred to Linker Financial.

When my mother was unable to take care of herself because of Alzheimer's disease we needed help to pay for her needs. We hired Linker Financial for help with her Medi-Cal application and it was the best thing we did. Everyone at Linker was polite and helpful and they all seem to be caring people.

Mom passed away last month and they have continued to help through the extensive process.

I first became concerned about 'Asset Preservation' when it became apparent the mounting cost of my mother's care (advanced Alzheimer's) would far exceed the sum total of everything my parents had worked a lifetime to build.

I became aware of Linker Financial through friends going through the same turmoil and stress who had heard about LFG through Kaiser. Linker Financial Group specializes in Asset Protection and Estate Preservation among other things 'financial.'

We called and scheduled a preliminary conversation and then met with Ray Linker, President and CEO of Linker Financial Group, and Louis Pacella, an attorney Ray works with here in Southern California. I'm not going to lie. I'm not going to gloss over my skepticism or initial discomfort. These discussions are uncomfortable and deal with subjects all of us would rather not have to deal with. However, both Ray and Louis were candid and forthright and left me feeling comfortable moving forward with the relationship to warrant retainers for each of them.

The process is long, extremely complex and arduous - can't think of a better word. In many cases, as our advocate, their staff was working with government agencies and officials. There were times I was frustrated others when I was a bit confused, but Ray and his staff ""stayed with us"" reassuring us every step of the way.

Perhaps, more to the point, Ray had given us an estimated cost for handling my mother's estate issues which turned out to be far more complicated and time consuming than any of us realized. He honored that estimate despite the fact he had to invest exponentially more time helping us resolve all of these issues successfully. As a businessman I know just how expensive those costs can be and how quickly they can mount up. I also know how much it means to do business with a person or a company willing to step up and keep their promises.

In the end, LFG's efforts resulted in protecting more than $100,000 in assets: a substantial part of my parent's estate. They did exactly what they said they would do and much, much more. They invested far more time in the project than they thought they might have to and never brought it up, not even in conversation.

While I can't promise that everyone will have the same outcome or result, I can tell you that Ray Linker and LFG, along with Louis Pacella, will be doing our estate planning and that I have recommended that when the time comes, our kids take advantage of their specialized expertise and honest effort.

I worked with Garrett Linker and I found him to be very professional and helpful. He worked hard to make sure our family was taken care of in a timely matter. I appreciated his due diligence and would use his services again if needed. Thank you Garrett:))

Run as fast as you can from this person!!! Everything he said would be done...it was nothing but lies!! His "laywer friend" Louis Pacella is just the same way. They both will take advantage of anyone they can!!

Linker Financial Group helped my mother in 2010 and the help they provided was truly a life saver. I was referred to them because my mother had fell and broke her hip and was at a local hospital but needed to be transferred to a long term care facility. I spoke with both Ray Linker and Garrett Linker and they were both very professional and genuine. They explained to me how they could help my mother and they quoted a fee to get the work done. I was in a financial hardship and was unable to pay the fee and was going to try and get the work done myself but they told me it would not be problem and did the work pro-bono. The entire staff from Ray Linker to the case manager were all so nice and helpful with me and I can not say enough good things about that group. They assisted in placing my mom into long term care and made sure the nursing home and my family were always kept in the loop regarding the benefit process. I would recommend them to anyone who has a loved one that may need long term care and are unsure about how to pay for it.
