THE BUSINESS IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED!

Had the transmittion replaced on our 1999 Ford F-250 diesel and it just started acting up. Called the phone number, no longer in service, website no longer service, physical address is closed up too... so we have a five year/150k mile warranty and there is no one to take care of the problems. Guessing this is definitely why you want to use big name companies that have multiple locations and a recourse available when this happens.

I was referred to Art by a friend who does business with him on a regular basis. As a woman, I am always worried that I am going to be "taken for a ride" by people in the automotive industry. I have to say that my experience was the absolute opposite. Art and his staff did everything they said they were going to do and did it timely and in the most cost effective (for me) manner possible. I have and I will continue to send people to Quality Transmission.

I could not be happier with my experience with Quality Transmission. I have had my transmission rebuilt and a new motor installed. The customer service and the patience they had listening to me the customer and explaining the various options to me. The speed and quality of repairs. The extra attention to details for example the battery was serviced, truck was washed etc.... I have had minor issues since and took the truck back. Quality has handled each subsequent repair without charging me a dime. I didn't have to bring in my warrantee or argue about whether it was the repair shop or operators liability. I know that at one point they had to pull the tranny apart which is major labor and parts.

These its hard to find even decent service particularly when it comes to auto repair. Quality Transmission provides EXCELLENT service from diagnostics to repair and beyond. This is the utopian type service i would expect from REI and few else. BTW they were the cheapest quote from a reputable dealer in town. A fraction of what Sebring wanted for similar repairs. 5 stars plus!!!

This review is coming straight from the heart and I got to say if I could give it 6 stars I would in a heartbeat . One of the reasons I will never go anywhere else is the service . Art took his time, He explained with detail what was wrong with my truck , and steps on how to possibly avoid this happening in the future. I can't thank him enough for his service and turning this experience, which I used to find gut wrenching, into a walk in the park . Thank You Quality Transmission you have a loyal customer for life .

Nobody likes having to get a transmission repaired or replaced but our experience with Quality Transmission was bearable Art explained at length with my husband all the possibilities and so we took our Volvo S80 in. Well we needed a transmission replaced and got it done we shopped around and found little to compare with the price warranty and quality of service we received at Quality Transmission. My husband was fascinated with the care and attention and even went down to look at the worn and damaged parts. Being an Engineer he instantly bonded with Art also an Engineer they were at SLO together and that was another plus. My husband says that today's vehicles are so complex that it takes somebody who really knows what he is doing to work on not just Volvo's but any late model vehicle. Art and the crew were great. To all who are looking for quality look no further than Quality Transmission this consumer believes that here you really get what you pay for.

You better believe it these guys are the best. I am a handyman with more than a little know how Art I will say really knows his stuff. I stopped in at one of the big national chains and can speak for sure that that guy is just a salesman with no KNOW. Ive been to Payless which just feels like Cheeper what does that name broadcast anyhow??? Well I digress. after spending about half an hour talking with Art and having him show me some really cool displays I have a better idea about absolutely nothing about transmissions but I am convinced he does and so he gets my business. I have a small fleet and will bring all my trucks and personal cars here for everything---

I recently lost the reverse gear in my Dodge Durango and my Wife's Ford Taurus wagon needed brakes. Through the recommendation of a friend and co-worker I went to Quality Transmission and met with Art. I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and quality of the work performed in both timeliness and a fair price. The transmission was completely rebuilt and is very strong and responsive, just like new. The brakes were nearly seized from wear on my wife's Taurus and were completely replaced, including new calipers and rotors. They now work perfectly. Before writing more I want to add that I was a mechanic myself and do almost all of my own work but I needed this done quickly and it was completed in a timely manner, plus the price was more than fair. It is hard to find good technicians that you can trust and I trust these guys. I will definitely keep them as my go to guys when I need work performed.
