I want to begin this review by saying "Thank You Alfonso". Truly. Alfonso is the front desk manager. He handled the situation I am about to inform you all of in a gracious, patient, and professional manner. I pray he realizes his worth and potential and moves up and out of this facility. My 19 year old daughter is away at college in Sacramento while I am in Lancaster. She is on a college budget and was only able to afford Econo Lodge for her holiday stay in Fresno. After leaving her room and not informing the front desk in time that she would be staying another night; housekeeping cleaned the room and placed her belongings in a laundry bag. When she returned and found that the room was empty she immediately went to the front desk to report her items missing. Alfonso was NOT present at that time and was never alerted to the situation until I called a week later after NOTHING was done. Done about what? In the laundry bag were her clothes, but over $300 worth of Sephora make up palletes and toiletries were missing. She was told that the cameras would be reviewed, and they then charged her for ANOTHER night since she needed to stay. No offer of refund. The claim was that Econo Lodge is not responsible for lost or stolen items. That is not what CA Civil Code 1859 states. They did not have safes in the room which would have covered them from CA Civil Code 1859 under CA Civil Code 1860. They use key cards including housekeeping. These are all trackable. I called a week later because my daughter did not know how to handle it as she was angry, feeling violated, and unheard. I prefer to have a positive outlook and assume that all humans when given the opportunity WILL show their honest side. When they do not I scorch the earth with my breath. When I called and spoke to Alfonso he was ON IT! I called the next morning and was told that his supervisor could not be bothered as she was busy all day with Corporate Big Wigs. I called the next day and was told that his supervisor was finally going over footage and key card logs. He left me a message that she found nothing suspicious. I called today to ask what the solution was. Of course it is not financially worth my time nor my daughters time drive to Fresno, file in small claims court over $300. I thanked him for all that he had done, but expressed my seething pissed off-ness as a mother that his supervisor did not call me. Did not offer a refund. Did not handle anything in a professional manner. It is unfortunate that such humans exist in the world that a mother's only daughter would be disregarded over big corporations. I do not EVER make time for a negative review. I intend to copy and paste this on as many review platforms I can find as well as send emails to this particular Econo Lodge and it's Headquarters...maybe to all the surrounding Econo Lodge's as well. I did not raise victims, nor whiner's but when justice is not handled appropriately and I have done all that is reasonable there is karma...and she is NOT A B*$%# TO ME. Blessings to you Alfonso. Alfonso I can ABSOLUTELY promise and guarantee that your life is about to be abundantly blessed in ways you could never even think possible...because I AM "I AM ENERGY". Econo Lodge of Fresno located at 4141 N. Blackstone Ave...what goes around comes around. We will NEVER stay at ANY Econo Lodge EVER again. You will not get another dollar from this family. Close to everything within distance came with family for softball tournament big rooms

enjoyed and give it a 5. we loved the pool and continental breakfast . Ezy to find off the freeway and close to restaurants walking distance.

we arrived late in the evening and staff we great made us feel like we were at home. Loved the garden setting outdoor pool. We stayed a one extra nite. Looking for a great clean hotel this one tops it.

This hotel had nice large rooms. We came for a kids sports event and stayed two nites. It close to freeway and shopping malls. The rooms have just about everything hairdryer in room coffee was nice and iron/board. Theres even a computer in the office where we could check our emails.

Wanted a good value hotel. This hotel had coffemakers ironing board, outdoor pool and perfect city location. Kids and wife enjoyed the continental morning breakfast. Will see you again next time we visit.
