Provided by YPmobileSuch false advertising, customer service is on a loop and ghetto. Picked out cheap ass frames then they picked out a set that cost twice as much. Made appointment for 59 for two sets left paying 300 . Freaking pissed . Eyeglass World next time.

Provided by YP.comDon't waste your time. It's cheap for a reason. Customer service is horrible and the wait time is a joke. If you make an appointment for 4 you should be seen at 4 not 5:15. And once you are seen, the doctor doesn't do the correct exam. I have been there 4 times and spent well over 5 hours there and I still can't see.

Provided by YP.comProfessionalism deserves a negative star! Do not go to Fresno Stanton optical! I had eye exam which was satisfactory. Then based on the optometrists professionalism I ordered contacts and 2 pair of glasses all of which needed to be ordered in which I was informed of after paying for them. I forgave and ordered a simple pair to get same day to hold me over. I was told contact lenses would arrive

Provided by YP.comWent in to get both contacts and eyeglasses and walked out with glasses in about 45 min! Got some help picking my glasses from a charming, good looking girl named Ana She helped make the tedious task of choosing lenses more fun. Also, the manager was able bring the price down considerably making my experience better than I had anticipated it would be. I highly recommend trying them out.

Provided by YP.comWe are extremely pleased with Stanton. We went in for a promotion only to find out that it Did not apply to childrens glasses. The manager Julian did his best to accomidate us and get us out the door with an exam, 2 pairs of glasses, a case and cleaning kit for only $20 more than the promo. Our family is a Stanton family!

Provided by YP.comStupid business my bill was $420 and the glass cannot use it. the service is good before they charge the money but after they charge the money, they act as we baking them. If I can give them 0 star, I will give them 0

Provided by YPmobileTake the wording literally in their signage! When I walked it I was told that all frames were $69, not true! Only one small section! That price doesn't include the lenses, what good are frames without lenses? My bill was almost $400. Till I started questioning charges, polarization, scratch guard, glare reducer and frame prices. I got it down to $200 with a promise to have them done on a rush order over night. I love 600 miles away and was leaving on Wednesday, this took place on Monday. We'll see if they can keep their word I'm heading over to pick them up now.

Provided by YPmobileThe two week contact lens prescription didn't make sense to Costco optical and when I tried to order the daily wear from 1-800-contacts, I was told they were $190 poet box of 90! They said they were so expensive because they are made for Stanton optical brand. I don't have $ 260 extra to spend on contacts every three months. Never again will I go there and I hope to God that you don't either.

Provided by YP.comMid-JAN 2014 went to Stanton Optical for eye exam and glasses. It was about noon when i started this process. At 5 pm they informed me that the surface lens machine used to fill my prescription did not function. Due to failure of a part which they did not expect replacement of for some days. Also because of backlog my prescription would be delayed by another week. Even though they did not have the ability to make my prescription eyeglasses. They still wanted me to pay in advance - i would not. Instead the next day i learn of another Stanton Optical, the closest one, being approximately a one hour drive from my city. There i spent the next two days driving back and forth to get my prescription filled. Only because i liked this particular plastic frame and being a discontinued model no other eyeglass store had them for sale. So after all this and a cash payment of $450 i had my single vision eyeglasses. There were problems though, one being, they were to small for my face (cannot see without prescription lens yet they told me at time of selection it was good fit) also the frames were bent out of shape from handling in order to install lenses. But a lab technician at my local store did heat the frames, at the nose bridge - to widen slightly, and arms - to shape for proper fit. A couple days later i return for reading glasses and the problems start again. First they indicate the blank lens needed were out of stock. Then the equipment generator failed but finally 12 days after my cash payment of $390 my glasses were ready for pickup. Both a salesman and lab technician presented my eyeglasses and it was first obvious how they were bent out of shape. But the lab technician was quick to speak about the process of heating the frames to reshape them. So i put them on to check vision and was seeing double for the first time in my life - except for times being hit in the head. So they check for prescription error and decide measurements taken for location of my pupils were wrong. Meanwhile, the salesman has my eyeglasses in hand and he begins to bend them. The lab technician, as well myself, tell him to stop - that the frames need to be heated first. But he continues, stating he's not bending the frames - he's bending the hinges. I said what !!! even the lab technician had a look of shock telling the salesman what he did would cause eyeglasses to fall apart prematurely. Yet the salesman just continued as if he could do no wrong. I stated i would not except those eyeglasses instead i want a new frame and correct prescription. At this point the manager, she was standing nearby, interrupts our transaction. Stating she will not allow me to speak to her employee that way. Immediately she orders me out of the store to never return and oh yeah, refund his money. But of course though i paid with cash they decide to send me a check for refund instead - from corporate office. Even though nowhere in the store is it posted no cash refunds nor does receipt indicate such. Well that very day i called corporate office to explain in detail all events. They apologize for all the trouble i experienced indicating normally a refund process would take a total of 7-10 days to arrive by mail. But considering the difficulties i experienced they would process it immediately and i should receive it in a few days. I said thank you, and if so, i would then put this all behind me. More than a week does pass and i realize have not received mailing from them. So i call and i'm informed how they forgot to process my refund - but would do so now. Anyway, nearly a month later refund check finally arrives so i take it to the issuing bank to cash and learn the check is not negotiable - it's a bad check. I've been informed that depositing a bad check into your account can cause financial losses and the bank representative indicated that i need to escalate this matter. So now I will pursue action to recover my losses caused by their negligence and malice.

Provided by YP.comif i could give them a no star rating i totaly would! The only good thing about this place is Cole who was nothing but kind to me. My glasses were recived and felt cheap like they were made from a soda can (not only my opinion but my husband as well as others as well). One of the lenses stick so far out from the frame its insane!!! I called to try to explain my issue they said i had to come in so i came in and they said well we can upgrade them to a thinner lense (i had already paid for what i thought was thinner lense but they say no theres a one thinner than that) and wouldnt charge me but couldnt guarantee they wouldnt be the same way. i thought about it for a bit and they said itd be another 2 weeks before i could get those (i had already waited a week for them and wasnt wanting to wait longer). i took the glasses with me to try to figure out if the RX in them were right because they made me super dizzy before i went through the trouble of having them corrected. Well needless to say after contacting their so called customer service i recived more horrible customer service from them and now their saying i cant return them. This is absoultely insane to me. Youre willing to take my lenses out put others in but not willing to take my glasses and give me my money back? unless you want to be screwed over dont go here. their frames are cheap lenses look horrible!!!!! I could have made something better out of scrap metal. be advised nothing good will come out of this place.
