I have used “The Tone Shop” for years for lots of guitar setups, repairs, additions, etc. Nothing has ever taken more than about 3 work days to complete. Prices are very fair - the folks who run the place are great people. Can’t recommend “The Tone Shop” enough. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a business where there is true concern for the needs of the customer, where the repair work is outstanding, and where the charges for repairs will make you a return customer. My large 1972 vintage Amp now works like new - $75 out the door.

I can't tell you the quality of their work since I never got that far. I brought my instrument there for repair and asked when the tech would be there so I could show them what repair I wanted since I live an hour away. When I got there, there was no tech there, so I left with the request for the tech to call me before he made the repair. No call came, even after being told that my repair was "next". I waited two weeks and no call - I went back and picked up my instrument still unrepaired. I had a wiring diagram of what I wanted with my instrument, but when I got home it wasn't there - I called and they found the diagram. I asked them to either send it to me or take a picture of it and email it to me, since it was the only diagram I had. That never happened. So, either they are very unorganized, or they don't care - either way, I won't go back there, even though they were recommended to me.

I brought in my vintage Gibson ES 125 for a cleaning of the scratchy pots. It came back with smooth operating controls and a full set up, including a correctly adjusted truss rod.

They did a great job at a very fair price. Highly recommended.
