Filed bankruptcy... .We did NOT want to reaffirm our car debt. Our lawyer said that was fine.. after the hearing she said we needed to sign some forms.. It was a reaffirmation agreement.. we asked why we would sign if we did NOT Want to reaffirm our debt... she said don't worry it's won't be reaffirmed! IT MUST be approved by a judge and the judge WILL NOT approve it if we say it its an undue hardship to keep the car.. We reluctantly agreed after We were assured multiple times that we were not REALLY signing the agreement... Well come to find out it the judge approved her agreement that WE never wanted... So we filed bankrupcy only to be left with half of the dang problem we started with... I would not recommend... this was turned around to make it out to be our fault... I think the lawyer *forgot to file the paperwork to make sure we had a proper hearing and now is blaming us.. So ridiculous we paid 2000 for a lawyer who can't even take responsibility for thier own actions.
