I’ve had 5 babies, the last two with Sandra. The first 3 were all different experiences, planned hospital birth with one of the best doctors in Louisville Ky, a birth center birth and a transport from birth center to hospital. I’ve not trusted any doctor or midwife like I trust Sandra.
My husband and I decided on the homebirth, not because we wanted a homebirth, but because we wanted Sandra. I consider myself fairly educated in natural birth and I had a million questions for her. She answered them all perfectly. She has a ton of knowledge and experience. With our first homebirth, we were nervous about it being a homebirth and we were about 20 minutes away from a hospital.
She absolutely saved me from a c-section with this first home birth. Any doctor would have said that I was “failure to progress”. Sandra was patient and realized that the baby was stuck. She reached up in there and pushed baby up and straightened her so that she would come down. This sounds painful, but I didn’t even know she had done it. Sandra is extremely gentle. She has only given me one vaginal exam and it was so gentle that I barely knew she had done it.
After the birth, my husband and I both agreed, we are so glad we decided to use Sandra and we will use her for any future births. In fact, when we recently moved from the Coshocton, Ohio area down to Marietta, Ohio, we made sure that Sandra was willing to come to us if we decided to have another baby. We may not have moved if she didn’t travel that far.

Sandra came highly recommended when I connected with her for my second home birth. I found her to be personable, knowledgeable and encouraging during our prenatal visits, and when it was time to give birth she was a calm, reassuring presence. Her support made for a smooth transition from the womb to my arms for my sweet baby boy. She worked quietly and respectfully and allowed my husband to be as involved as he wished. I absolutely recommend Sandra for her knowledge, instinct and gentle personality. I am very pleased with my experience with her, so much that we are working together again for my third home birth. I highly recommend Sandra. I have attended two of her home births for another Mama and she attended my last home birth for me. She does a wonderfully heartfelt, passionate and knowledgeable job. She is calm, patient and so trusting of birth and the ability of a mother to bring a baby into the world in the safest and most natural way. She is an amazing woman and midwife and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

San was my daughter's midwife for all 3 of her children, now 4, 6, and 8 years old.. I love San's heart for, and skill at, helping mom's bring their children into the world. She believes in allowing the body to do its job and trusts that it will. She handles difficult situations with great skill and patience. I so admire her and the job that she does, and would recommend her heartily!

Sandra trusted my body and my wishes - something I've never found in another care provider. I was treated with kindness and tenderness, and allowed to have the birth I knew I needed. Sandra is knowledged and talented, guiding me through a fast but difficult birth. I cannot sing enough praises, I cannot writer a long enough review, and I cannot express how very thankful I feel to have found Sandra and been able to have her as my midwife. She is someone I will forever be thankful to have in my life!

Sandra is unlike any midwife out there. She stands by the mother and help make dream births come true. She was always there for me day or night for any questions. She provided me with information that helped me to find the path of the birth I needed! She is extremely wise! Her knowledge of woman and the birth process is extensive. She understands the body's physiological processes and help support it. She was able to suggest herbs for concerns I had. I can't speak highly enough of her and her skills as a health care giver.
