Where do I start? if it is possible for me to give Fresno Dental zero star, I will do so. I urge you to stay as far away from these people as possible.

Just before Christmas 2018, I called Fresno Dental because I wanted to take advantage of my insurance before the end of the year.

I purposely asked them if they had appointments available before the end of the year and they told me YES. I was told to come in a day before my appointment to do the paperwork so it will be quicker when I came in for the cleaning. I did.

On the day of my appointment I went in. They did x-ray and stuff, told me the cost of the work needed to be done after insurance payments, and I agreed to pay the amount. Then they told me they could not clean my teeth that day, that I needed to come back another time to get my teeth cleaned. This was on December 31, 2018, meaning it will be the new year before they can clean my teeth.

I was furious. I reminded them they promised to clean it before the end of 2018. Infact, they made the promise on numerous occasions - over the phone and face to face in their dental office. I also reminded them that the reason I came (and they were aware of this) was to take advantage of my insurance before the end of the year.

The lady at the front desk was annoying and dismissive

Less than 10 minutes later, they called me and asked me to come back that the dentist wanted to speak with me. I turned around and went back. The dentist repeated the same BS about the fact that they didn't think I would pay the quoted cost.

I felt insulted and furious. I told them I would call my insurance to ensure they do not get paid beyond the x-ray and I would leave negative reviews for them online. At that point the dentist began apologizing profusely, told me to get on the chair that he can clean my teeth.


I walked away. I didn't want him touching my teeth in any way.

I lost the opportunity to use my 2018 dental insurance benefits because of their BS.
