Provided by YP.comWe had a fantastic time on our trip last summer. We saw all kinds of wildlife including encountering Orcas from our kayak. Our guide was so amazing sharing so much scientific information while all the time keeping us safe . I can't wait to return with my grand children. Thanks for the wonderful memories for our father and daughter trip.

Provided by YP.comVery well run kayak tour. The guide was very mature and knowledgable so we felt safe despite being very inexperienced kayakers. The porpoises and seals were fun to see and came very close to our kayaks. We weren't lucky enough to see orca whales from the kayaks, but we saw them from the beach when we were getting ready to launch.

Provided by YP.comMy girlfriend and I were looking for something new and different. We are avid adventures. When she found kayaking on San Juan Island it sounded perfect. Sea Quest Expeditions had a great rate and great reviews so we tried them out.
We signed up for a 3 day trip and from the start it was epic. After a very informative tutorial that made us feel comfortable with the environment, we were off. About an hour into the tour we had our first experience with the killer whalers. It was unbelievable. They were all around us. They swam under our kayaks and were jumping out of the water right near us.
Our guide was very educated on these animals and made us feel very safe around these creatures. It turns out that no wild killer whale has ever harmed a soul. The guide knew how to keep the experience fun and exciting. I can't believe how much I learned on this trip and how much fun I had.
The kayaks we used made the trip that much better. They were amazing boats that were really stable and fast! It seemed impossible to tip. The paddles we used were excellent and the life vests and spray skirts were really comfortable too.
I recommend you check Sea Quest Expeditions out. The traveling was easy and well worth it. It was an experience that I will never forget!

Provided by YP.comI strongly recommend Adventure Quest Kayak Tours. Their whale watching trips in the San Juan Islands are really great. We saw orca whales, porpoises, seals, and eagles on the tour I took with my family. Our young kids loved the trip - it was a good mix of excitement and education which was perfect to keep their interests up. Although we've never kayaked before, their guides were well prepared to provide instruction and we felt safe the whole time.
Adventure Quest had the lowest prices on San Juan Island and their customer service was very helpful as was their informative website.

Provided by YP.comI went on a day trip with A Kayak Quest for Whales and had the best time. I've gone kayaking around different locations before, but this was the first time I've been as thrilled by it as I was my first time. The guide I had was great and made sure we respected the boundaries of the orcas, but helped position us in a spot that allowed us to see them breaching and enjoying each others company. With the mountains in the background, we paddled along the west side and I was amazed by each steep cliff and every little blood star fish I saw. It was such an amazing experience that I ended up booking two more day trips! If you want to have a great time and work up a bit of a sweat, head to the waters of Friday Harbor with A Kayak Quest for Whales.

Provided by YP.comWe had a fantastic time with Adventure Quest. Their guide was super knowledgeable and was able to get us in the perfect place to see the orca whales. The whales came so close we could smell their breath! What an awesome experience!
I go whale watching as often as I can in a lot of different places, but had never tried it from a kayak before. The kayaks were all really sharp, modern, fast, and surprisingly stable. We found it easy to learn the basic skills on our very first kayaking trip.
I highly recommend this company to any one who wants a fun trip where they will learn a lot.
