Provided by YP.comI have used Jeff for my own property in Friendswood, as well as rental properties I have owned. He is without question the most honest, hard working man. He is reliable and does not try to sell you on any unnecessary repairs. Of all my maintenance companies I work with, I would recommend Ackles to anyone!

Provided by YP.comJeff is the BEST guy to call -- without a doubt. Honest as the day is long, technical expert in air conditioning, inexpensive in his pricing, and an all-around good dude.
Only complaint is that there are not more statrs than 5 -- he's a keeper.

Provided by YP.comI see that Jeff Ackles was given 5 stars by another customer but he is not an honest man. He does show up quick but is looking for an easy way to repair your A/C. If it requires too much work he isn't interested in the job. After seeing the problem and cancelling another repairman he shows up, takes a look and says I'm not interested in fixing this and he left...leaving our family without A/C on a weekend. Keep looking if you want the job fixed immediately and without hesitation because Jeff isn't interested.
I have never seen, met or spoke to texasmom2010 and she does not know me at all...her husband called me on Saturday 5/21/11 late afternoon and said his a/c was not working properly. when I looked at his system and found he had a zoned a/c (one air conditioner with 2 thermostats) that controlled the entire house. The zone system was running the outside unit without the blower so it would freeze up,I told him I could not get any parts until Monday. I did not charge him nor was I dishonest. Nobody would have had the parts he needed before Monday
