Established in 1973, it operates Alsum Transport, which has a fleet of more than 25 tractors and over 60 trailers. Alsum Produce also manages Alsum Farms, which grows nearly 1,300 acres of potatoes. Alsum Produce maintains a more than 140,000-square-foot production facility and warehouse. The company has a staff of over 120 full-time employees. In addition, it works with growers and vendors. It delivers produce from farms to markets in the eastern United States within 48 hours.
