To say the least I was/am very disappointed in the food. I ordered the ribeye (med well) with grilled asparagus and roasted tomatoes/garlic and fully loaded mashed potatoes and a SWEET MANGO tea. Well I sent the steak back to be cooked correctly twice.THE FIRST TIME, it previously came out very well done (burned); my potatoes were hard and not creamy or fluffy for mashed potatoes. Then steak came back very rare; so as the cow is still moaning, I send it back FOR A SECOND TIME. This times the none attentive waiter takes my whole plate (veggies included). After about 15-20 I get a very mediocre steak (that I am tired of complaining about) some cold potatoes and cold asparagus. A manager comes and hands me a to-go box for my less than satisfying meal. The waiter brings a check with $20 worth of gift tickets, REALLY?! Who does that?! Honestly, now I am even more frustrated because I have to continuously ask for refills and you bring back NONE SWEET regular tea and I specifically ask for SWEET mango tea, and I tell you that I choose not to pay the bill. I rather you take your gift coupons and cover the tab. This was totally unacceptable and I feel like not only should the meal been compensated but I should have receive the gift cards on top of that. I sent the steak back twice and it still wasn’t good!

I don’t expect the steaks to be of the steak house (Salt Grass, Texas Land and Cattle, Outback, Perry’s, III Forks, etc). However, what I do expect is for items on the menu to be cooked and served properly in a timely fashion. I expect to have my waiter to come and tend to the table in a timely manner; I certainly expect the waiter to know what I am drinking and bring the correct drinks.

So although I didn't pay for the meal NOR leave a tip, this has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth for Chili's. I can't really say that I will re-visiting this location anytime soon.

Signed,

Still hungry with an angry cow on board
