Michael McHugh, MD completed his undergraduate degrees at the University of Arizona where he dual majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology, and Business Management. He graduated summa cum laude from both programs with a 4.0 GPA. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine where he was a junior inductee into the AOA honor society. He completed his residency training at the University of Michigan where he trained amongst some of the most influential hip and knee surgeons in the country. His dedication to the field of adult reconstruction led him to completing OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center adult reconstruction fellowship - the most highly regarded program in the nation.
